Former ALICE COOPER Guitarist Recording New Solo Album
December 3, 2004Michael Bruce, former guitarist and chief songwriter for the original ALICE COOPER GROUP, is currently in the studio recording a new solo album. Bruce, who penned such classic COOPER hits as "I'm Eighteen", "No More Mr. Nice Guy", "Be My Lover" and "School's Out", promises that his new CD will "contain all the elements that made the ALICE COOPER GROUP one of the most outrageous rock groups of all times."
In the early 2000s, Michael Bruce toured throughout Europe, which culminated in a guest appearance at former band mate ALICE COOPER's concert at Wembley Stadium in England. In 2002, a CD was issued in the U.K. entitled "Halo of Ice", which documented Bruce's live performance in Iceland. Bruce hopes to have his new album completed sometime in 2005.
